DINA & ALBA, ALESSIA and THE ACADEMY explore the role of politics - sexual, personal and intercontinental - in Fratti's wry, sly and always unexpected style. DINA & ALBA explores the world of women in love with women...who also love men; ALESSIA follows a beautiful young woman's one night affair with the much older man she hopes (and purposefully plans) to make her new stepfather; and THE ACADEMY examines the inner workings of a modern day School for Professional Gigolos set in 1960 Venice.

Fratti's plays have been performed in over two dozen countries and translated into many languages. A professor of Italian Literature at Hunter College, Fratti also serves as New York Drama critic for nine European newspapers. Mr. Fratti will be working with Turtle Shell developing his stories at the Shell Theater.

Due to the sensual and sometimes explicit nature of these pieces, it is suggested for mature audience members. Tickets are ($18), ($15) for students and seniors and $12 for groups of 10 or more.
