Turtle Shell Productions is gearing up for a replay of our SUMM ER SHORTIES– SUMM -AR NOT festival which had a successful premier last July. We are looking for short plays in two categories appropriate for: Adults, performed by adult actors AND/OR Children, performed by actors between the ages of 9 and 15. The plays (a limit of two per playwright ) should be 1 to 20 minutes in length on all subjects, with an emphasis on cutting-edge, original points of view and writing. We require the standard play format in 12 point font, with numbered pages and your name and contact information clearly spelled out on the cover sheet . NO ELECTRONIC SUBMISSIONS PLEASE . Please do not send your original copy as plays will not be returned. The deadline is extended If your play is selected we offer: In a 60 seat, air-conditioned theatre located in the heart of the theatre district Directed by a professional director Mounted by our professional team of set, costume, light and sound designers. And publicized to the press and the public with specially designed postcards and flyers that are also available to the playwright.
